Situated in Etiler, the prestigious residential area of Istanbul, the residential has been designed in the way to address the short-term accommodation needs of the user. The Wood material, used predominantly on the facade and garden walls create a contrast with the basalt stone flooring used at the plinth level of the building. The center of the stairs located at the facade of the building houses the transparent elevator tower and it was aimed to provide day light to the basement which is used as car park and spa through this area. At the same time, the large areaways surrounding the building also serve this purpose. The ground floor of the building is designed as open-plan. The elevation difference at the hall serves as a stage for the piano. The hall is directly connected with the garden. The second structure in the garden is designed as annex. The second floor of the structure houses 4 bedrooms and considered mainly for guests. The penthouse houses the main bedroom. In terms of general solutions, the building is designed more inward-oriented and privacy is put into essence.
